| Character CreationCharacters are building on a 150 point base with a maximum of 100 points in Disadvantages. Hunteds are not allowed. Hand Attacks cost 1 END for every 6 active points rather than 1 END for every 10 active points. This keeps the END cost for HA's in line with other offensive powers (1 END for every 2 damage classes). New players begin with experience points. The number of experience points is equal to the lowest amount of the current characters. Replacement characters for a player begin with the same amount of experience that their previous character had. In other words, the experience belongs to the player and not the character. Absent PlayersPlayers who are unable to attend a session do gain experience. That player earns the lowest amount of what the attending players earned. In other words, if Heather can't game with us, she would earn experience. If one player earned 3 experience, two players earned 2 experience, and the last player earned 1 experience, Heather would earn 1 experience (the lowest amount). Cool PointsAt the end of each session, the players cast secret ballots for who they felt contributed the most to the gaming session. This can be for any reason (playing well, really good joke, brought food, etc.). If a player receives a majority of the votes, that player receives one bonus experience point. So far, no one has yet to get a cool point. Idea BoxAt the end of each session, each player writes down three story "seeds." The story seeds are placed in a box and the GM for the next session randomly selects 3 seeds to incorporate into the next session. All undrawn seeds remain in the box. |
